Here I am in Your Presence
Here’s a song the Lord put in my heart. An inspiration from Isaiah 6 and 61.
In Your holy presence Lord
The seraphs bow before Your throne
They used their wings to cover their face
And cried out “Holy, holy, holy.”
In Your holy presence Lord
I dare not look into Thy face
I realized how wretched I am
And I cried ” Filthy, filthy, filthy. “
In Your holy presence Lord
A piece of coal was all You need
The angel used it to cleanse my lips
And declared that I’m forever clean

So I cried “Here I am, Lord send me”
Send me to the poor
To bind up the broken-hearted
And set the captives free
So I cried “Here I am, Lord send me”
Send me to Your people
To show them Your righteous way
And walk in humility
