This ministry is run basically by faith through the grace of God. We continue to look to God for His provisions and providence. As such, your donations means a lot to us. Without your support and prayers, this ministry could come to a halt. We ask that you consider giving for this cause seriously.

Building work & Fund raising needs:

Over the last few years, we have gradually been building facilities at a piece of land we bought at Huay Sai. Initially, it was just a piece of deserted land. We had to pull in wires so that the place has electricity and we also got to dig a well so that we have water to drink and use.

We have also built a training shed for our outreach meetings and a pond bearing a big cross in a heart-shape (our logo).

Besides building the Shannon Home to care for the orphans and children from broken home in 2014, we have built Shema Retreat Home too, a place for retreat and stay. People who would like to go for retreat to seek God or our mission teams would be able to stay there to carry ministry.

Recently, we praise the Lord for leading some youths to the Lord. Some adults also expressed interest to know Jesus. After so many years of labour, the time of reaping has finally come. As such, we are planning to build a church worship cum outreach hall, a youth meeting room and a children activity hall. We also need to build wall around the whole vicinity, waterproof the pond, lay concrete on the road and buy a vehicle to chauffeur the kids around, especially in the rainy season. We hope to raise S$70K to put up our church building and another S$70K subsequently to build the rest.

Please pray for us as we look to God to provide for us. We hope that that we can start these projects soon as the building costs have been increasing rapidly every year. The longer we delay, the more costly they would be.

Volunteers

If you are interested in social work, then this is for you. We will be glad to be your coordinator to link you up with the local orphanages and children homes. May it be primary school students, secondary school students or students in the tertiary education and even working adults, why not try out social work in a cross-cultural setting? You can conduct activities for them and teach them English, Chinese or computer skills. Don’t waste your time and holidays, you can bless others with much more.
